A simple, gentle update on how your animal is feeling, and to focus on an aspect of their life.
A Wellness Check‑In is a light, intuitive session designed to give you a quick sense of how your animal is feeling in general. It’s perfect for small concerns, routine check‑ins, or when you simply want reassurance that your animal is doing well.
What is a Wellness Check-in?
This session offers a focused 15‑minute connection with your animal to check in on their well-being, comfort, and see what is top-of-mind for them. It’s lighter and less detailed than an Animal Insights session — instead, it gives you a snapshot of how your animal is doing right now.
Before our call, I’ll connect with your animal to see if anything feels urgent or important to them. We’ll begin the session by talking through what came up, and you’re welcome to share anything on your mind as we go.
A Wellness Check‑In is an economical option for people who want to support their animal’s wellbeing, gain a better sense of how they’re feeling, or receive simple reassurance.
You don’t need to have specific questions prepared — but it can help. Many people find that something naturally comes to mind once we start talking. I’ll always begin by sharing your animal’s messages and insights, and we can explore anything else that arises afterward.
When a Wellness Check-in is helpful
Routine reassurance
A simple check to see how your animal is feeling day‑to‑day.
Minor behaviour changes
When something feels “a little off,” but not urgent. I can’t promise to change their behaviour, but I may be able to help you understand it.
Emotional support
A gentle way to support your animal during small transitions.
Past event check
After travel, visitors, vet visits, or changes in routine.
Peace of mind
If there is one aspect you need to have an idea of what it could be, it is best to book this short session and put your mind at ease.
If what your animal shares at first is not what you are expecting, you can extend the call to a full Animal Insights reading.
What you’ll receive in a Session
During a Wellness Check-in you’ll receive:
A brief overview of your animal’s current situation
Any small messages they want to share
Insight into anything they’re finding stressful or comforting
Simple guidance to support their wellbeing
A sense of reassurance and connection
This session is intentionally light and focused — perfect for clarity
Every session is unique — guided by your animal’s personality, energy, and what they most want to share with you. Be open to receiving and sometimes it is a wonderful surprise what they want to share. It could be that what you are concerned about is not concerning them at all.
After the session I will email you brief notes from the discussion so you can refer back to these after the call.
Is this the right session for you?
A Wellness Check‑In is best when you want a simple update or reassurance on something that is concerning you, or you are curious about.
Every booking is for one animal only.
If you have a number of questions, or concerns, or want a deeper understanding of your animal’s emotions, the Animal Insights Session is usually a better fit.
How the Session works
1. You send a photo of your animal and their name.
No detailed questions needed — this is a light check‑in, but do include the topic you want to discuss if you wish. One animal per booking.
2. I connect intuitively with their energy. This is a gentle, focused connection, and it usually starts before our call.
3. Your animal shares how they’re feeling. This may include emotions, comfort levels, or small messages.
4. I share what they show me. I am sometimes given names, or dates, images, or pieces of what seems to be a puzzle, and we can work together to see what this means for you. As we chat, you may come up with new questions, and that is perfectly fine too.
5. You receive reassurance and guidance. A quick, supportive update during a call with you, followed by an email with brief details of what we discussed.

A photo is all I need - sessions are fully remote and available to clients across New Zealand and worldwide.
The photo is ideally a full-body photo, of just your animal, and can be taken at any time during their life with you.
If your situation feels urgent or stressful, there are Priority Bookings available. You’ll receive your session sooner, with your animal’s messages delivered as quickly as possible.
